Perfect and clean hotel, very nice staff and magnificent location. Exceptionally comfortable beds and a storage and heating. Marvellous continental breakfast - outstanding fresh bread, cereals, and pastries. Exceptional service and reasonable value.  

Whole place was fairly clean with lovely views; marvellous and fab location in both bars the night I stayed. The rooms were functional and double superior, with a bathtub.

The staff was very knowledgeable and the setting was beautiful, plus it's in a central location.

It was a relaxing stay as too the reason for our visit. Thanks to the welcoming staff everything was excellent, including lots of incredible food.

I asked for superior king room with a view of the mews, tea plus good water pressure, had a relaxing stay. The staff I met were pleasant. The service was all in all good. Also, I parked nearby.

This place has a great atmosphere, with really friendly staff and incredibly comfortable beds, plus delicious smoothies for breakfast.

Staff were excellent very polite and helpful. Reception asked us if it was a special occasion it was our anniversary. Within 2 minutes of us getting in our room we were bought up an anniversary card and a voucher for 2 free drinks. Would recommend the 

Fabulous hotel,very helpful and friendly staff,excellent location.Relaxed atmosphere with very traditional surroundings keeping with the `Royal` theme which made it feel special.The food was lovely, ate in the carvery and we had full English breakfast too!
